The Golden Cord

The Iron Dragon Series
The Golden Cord

Paul Genesse's debut novel The Golden Cord takes readers on an adventure through a unique world following the main character Drake Bloodstone. In the beginning of the book, I felt lost being in a new world, where not only was the setting foreign, but the tools and animals were also unique from other stories. Paul, however was able to express the scenes with such vivid imagery that when objects were later described in greater detail I found out that my imagination painted an accurate description.

Drake encounters Drobin (Dwarves) warriors and priests as well as Dragons on his Journey haunted by a past friend lost in The Void and driven by the love of his life. The book has plenty of action leaving you riveted to every page as Drake evades and battles wyverns, griffons, dragons, and more. Don't miss this opening book to Genesse's Iron Dragon Series.
