The Golden Cord

The Iron Dragon Series
The Golden Cord

Paul Genesse's debut novel The Golden Cord takes readers on an adventure through a unique world following the main character Drake Bloodstone. In the beginning of the book, I felt lost being in a new world, where not only was the setting foreign, but the tools and animals were also unique from other stories. Paul, however was able to express the scenes with such vivid imagery that when objects were later described in greater detail I found out that my imagination painted an accurate description.

Drake encounters Drobin (Dwarves) warriors and priests as well as Dragons on his Journey haunted by a past friend lost in The Void and driven by the love of his life. The book has plenty of action leaving you riveted to every page as Drake evades and battles wyverns, griffons, dragons, and more. Don't miss this opening book to Genesse's Iron Dragon Series.

G.G. Vandagriff

G.G. Vandagriff

GG Vandagriff graduated from Stanford University and received an MA from George Washington University in International Relations, specializing in the economics, politics, and history of Central Europe. She had a career in finance before she began her family. Her latest book, The Last Waltz, was begun 33 years ago, founded on the research she did as a student in Austria and for her degrees. Knowing that in order to write an epic, she needed more “life experience”, she worked on it only intermittently until her recovery from a twenty-five year depression in 2006. It was published in April, 2009. She loves mysteries and genealogy and combined them for her five volume genealogical mystery series. A lover of Wales, Suspense, and King Arthur's Legend, she plotted The Arthurian Omen to include all three. Her non-fiction book on depression was co-written with her husband and son to help others with the disease find hope for recovery. She lives in Provo, is married to David Vandagriff, has three grown children and one grandchild.
